Your role

As HR Manager you will be active on a strategic, tactical, and operational level within all facets of the HR profession. You initiate projects, write plans, and execute them. You will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function and partnering with the business in ensuring the delivery of the day-to-day HR activities supported by the Recruitment Manager, parttime HR Officer, and the international HR colleagues. You are part of the local Practice Management Team and a sparring partner for the Partners, reporting to the Dutch Country Lead Partner and the Regional HR Lead.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business growth strategy;
  • Provide strategic direction across a wide range of HR matters spanning the full employee life cycle;
  • Provide advice and guidance on strategic staffing issues such as succession planning, organization, and culture transformation, and change management;
  • Provide leadership to organization design and development ensuring fit for purpose structures and skill mix and effective change management;
  • Play a key role in articulating, embedding, and monitoring the organization’s vision, values and behaviors and overall shaping of organizational culture;
  • Plan, manage and coordinate all HR initiatives including performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, well being initiatives, implementation of company policies and goals as well as ad-hoc projects;
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on the key risk areas linked to HR issues;

Requirements

Your qualifications

  • A relevant completed master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience at HR Manager/HRBP level and proven working experience as HR Manager within a professional services company, and preferably in a top-tier (international) management consulting organization;
  • Strong business and HR acumen including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative;
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch Employment law is mandatory;
  • Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships across all levels of the company and have a highly pro-active approach to HR;
  • Highly developed influencing skills, able to listen and influence, persuade and challenge;
  • Demonstrated track record with change- and project management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English;
