The People & Strategy (P&S) team supports organizations in addressing strategic challenges through the development, implementation and embedding of innovative technologies, business models and approaches.

To support the growth of the P&S team in our Amsterdam office, we are looking for
ambitious starters who are interested in innovation management, change management and strategic executions, and who are eager and open to learn.
Your role

As a junior consultant People & Strategy at BearingPoint, you are part of a multidisciplinary team on challenging assignments within a wide range of clients in the Telecommunications, Energy, Construction, Consumer Goods & Retail and Pharmaceutical sectors. As a team you deliver complex projects that transform the way business is being done.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Be a team member in client engagements from high-level start to actual delivery and realization of predefined objectives
  • Attending trainings, learning how to facilitate workshops and conduct relevant analyses
  • Actively contribute to drafting and elaborating commercial proposals
  • Actively thinking with clients about business strategies, development and integration of innovative concepts and technologies, transformation plans and capability building
  • Signaling and acting upon the needs of the clients, understanding organizational dynamics and translate these into actions
  • Actively updating yourself with new developments and innovations in the industry and contribute to developing activities for our growing practice within the European BearingPoint network

Requirements

Qualifications;

  • A relevant Master’s degree, preferably with (organizational) business focus
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding
  • Highly committed and driven mentality, with a strong strive for excellence and the capacity to lead by example
  • Experience in one of the following areas is a plus but not required: (digital) transformation and strategy, lean and operational excellence, supply chain and/or leadership and change management 
  • A representative open appearance and proactive, independent attitude
  • Excellent communicative skills in both Dutch and English (written and oral)
