Your responsibilities

As a (Senior) Business Technology consultant at BearingPoint you’ll be executing challenging assignments in the IT domain for various appealing clients in the Telecommunications, Energy, Public Sector, and FMCG sectors. You will help shape the team and guide our juniors on projects. You will help shape the IT strategy and landscapes of organizations in a wide variety of IT related roles, such as IT strategist/visionary or architect. Examples of possible assignments include the development of an IT strategy/vision, software selection, designing an IT landscape or operating model. You will do this as part of multi-disciplinary teams building bridges between business and IT to achieve the goals of the client.

Qualifications

• A relevant and completed Master’s degree in Business Information Systems, ICT & Business, Technology Management, Computer Science or equivalent;
• 2-8 years of experience in business technology or IT strategy/architecture
• A shown broad interest in IT (innovation) and how (IT) solutions can realize (business) goals;
• Speaking the language of IT and business;
• Learning fast and eager to pick up new technologies;
• Strong analytical skills, supplemented with a conceptual mindset;
• Ability to empathize and well-developed listening skills;
• A customer-, and results oriented and proactive attitude;
• A representative appearance and proactive, independent attitude;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in both Dutch and English).

Advantages to have:

• Work experience or a shown interest in one of the mentioned sectors
• Experience with requirements engineering, business & IT design techniques
