Your ambitions

As a (senior) consultant, you have the ambition to further develop as a trusted advisor for our clients in the domain of financial regulation and regulatory reporting. You understand the complexity of financial regulation, the reporting requirements, IT systems, and the importance of data. With your knowledge and expertise, you will support our clients in realizing their objectives of an accurate and streamlined regulatory reporting process.

Your role

In this role, you will work independently or as a senior member of the team to implement and advise on our leading RegTech solution for supervisory- and regulatory reporting – Abacus360. On an incidental basis, you will also participate in formulating the requirements for new software modules, in case of new or changed regulations. As well as participation in Business Development activities such as presentations and demonstration of our services.

Key responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in the implementation of our Abacus RegTech solution at financial services customers.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on financial regulation and reporting requirements. Advise clients on implementation scenarios.
  • Work closely with customers and advise on configuration, data requirements and the software functionality to meet business needs.
  • Training new members of the team.
  • Research new and upcoming developments in financial and supervisory reporting.
  • Support business development (e.g. support sales meetings, proposals, solution visions).



  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in one or more of Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g. COREP, FINREP, Liquidity) and/or regulations (CRD/Basel).
  • Solid knowledge of financial products and core banking processes;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • IT affinity and basic knowledge of relational database structures;
  • Willingness to travel domestically and within Europe (less than 20%);
  • Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written; Dutch is an advantage.
