For our Amsterdam office, BearingPoint’s Customer & Growth (C&G) team is looking for professionals (10+ years) with experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Service technology transformations and a strong network and deep knowledge in one of our focus industries.


Your role

As Senior Manager at BearingPoint, you lead a multidisciplinary team on challenging assignments within a wide range of clients in various industries like Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical. As a team you deliver complex projects that transform the way business is done.


Your responsibilities include;

  • Lead the development & go-to-market of our Marketing, Sales & Service propositions – combining business & technology perspectives
  • Expand our presence in key accounts by building trusted client relationships and driving business development
  • Deliver projects for our clients, from (digital) strategy design to (technology) transformation management and implementation
  • Lead client engagements from high-level start to actual delivery and realization of predefined objectives, including guiding and coaching a team
  • Act as trusted advisor for our clients when it comes to business & technology strategies, development and integration of innovative concepts and technologies, and transformation plans
  • Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders – both on business and technology/IT departments
  • Signal and act upon the needs of the clients and translate these into projects
  • Actively updating yourself with new developments and innovations in the industry
  • Contribute to developing activities for our growing practice within the European BearingPoint network

Job requirements

What are we looking for;

  • Has deep understanding of a specific market segment (preferably the Dutch Consumer Goods & Retail market), with a strong senior business network at corporate clients in the Netherlands.
  • Has strong account development capabilities, expanding the Customer & Growth client portfolio at a selection of key accounts
  • Brings an entrepreneurial mindset to support the continuous growth and development of the team, effective delivery of projects and revenue generation.
  • Has a track record in realizing positive impacts through the design and delivery of complex projects.
  • Demonstrates integrity to do the right thing - for your clients and your team.
  • Takes pride in supporting the development of others – encouraging growth, creating opportunity and supporting learning.
  • Can influence and develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Excellent communicative skills in Dutch and English (written and oral)
